🌸 お花見（Cherry Blossom Viewing）

英語で説明してみよう！

In spring, people in Japan enjoy viewing cherry blossoms.We call this tradition Hanami.Families and friends have picnics under the cherry trees and enjoy food and drinks together.

使える表現

• Cherry blossom：桜の花

• Bloom：咲く

• Picnic under the cherry trees：桜の木の下でピクニックをする

💡ポイント「Hanami」という日本語をそのまま使ってもOK！英語の説明を添えることで、自然に伝わります。

🎍 お正月（New Year’s in Japan）

英語で説明してみよう！

The New Year is the most important holiday in Japan.We visit shrines to pray for good luck and eat traditional dishes called Osechi Ryori.Children receive Otoshidama, which are small envelopes of money from relatives.

使える表現

• Shrine visit：初詣

• Good luck：幸運

• Osechi Ryori：おせち料理

• Otoshidama：お年玉

💡ポイント「Osechi Ryori」や「Otoshidama」など、日本特有の言葉はそのまま使って説明すると伝わりやすいです。
